- How long have you been working with Availpro? Why did you choose Availpro?
That happened in winter 2016, in a context of a breakdown with our previous service provider (lack of responses to our questions and technical problems). We needed a change. Some team members who had already worked with Availpro spoke to us about them.
At the same time, we also wanted to develop our website to bring it back up-to-date. The web agency that we chose also recommended Availpro. The good combination of their booking platform, especially their widgets, with our new site, complemented by other conclusive research, managed to convince us.
The regional salesperson, Sébastien Trolliet, came to visit us and the set-up was carried out quite quickly.
- Which products do you use from the software suite?
We use the Smart Booking Engine, the Smart Channel Manager, PMS connectivity, NextRate and Sentinel.
- What was the issue you were experiencing before choosing Availpro?
The implementation of yield was problematic, we did not have a price comparison tool like we now have with NextRate. And as mentioned previously, human support and customer service were not up to scratch.
- What was the biggest impact on your business after selecting Availpro as your partner?
In relation to yield, mountain hotels have been doing that for a hundred years! The 3 different seasonal rates (high, mid, low) have existed for a long time now. However, nowadays, that has progressed a lot, and we can change the rates day-by-day, even several times a day. That was possible thanks to Availpro, changing the rates is very easy. That has generated additional income, but we will have an exact figure only after a 12-month term of use.
Another interesting thing that we have observed: we notice that customer relations have not changed much; people apparently find there is too much information on the Internet, so people need to be reassured about reliability. They often call us just after making an online reservation to check that it is confirmed, direct conversation is coming back.

It is a technological tool which corresponds to what we are looking for. And our account manager offers us fast and satisfactory responses.
