- How long have you been working with Availpro? Why did you choose Availpro?
We decided to work with Availpro at the start of February 2017, after I took up my position within Groupe Emeraude. I carried out an analytical study of different technical solutions which were being offered with 3 objectives constantly in mind: facilitate the management of daily sales for the teams, gain more productivity (develop sales) and, finally, receive and process reliable and complete statistics.
Availpro ticked all the boxes in our specifications, and above all the criteria of the visibility on metasearches.
- Which products do you use from the software suite?
We use the Smart Booking Engine, the Smart Channel Manager, PMS connectivity, Little Yielder and Multimeta.
- If you were to recommend Availpro to another hotel, what would you say about them? Is there anything that makes Availpro seem unique?
It is the architecture of the software which makes Availpro unique : well constructed and intuitive. That is the backbone of this tool. Furthermore, Availpro has a reputation for it intuitiveness but above all its reliability. The quality of the relations with the teams, the tool’s simplicity of use for our internal teams, its strong connectivity with numerous OTAs and PMS, as well as development perspectives (new Availpro tools, continuous product development, broadband connections/wide range of partners…), are strong differentiating points of the company.
- Why did your hotel/you as a hotel want to gain presence on price-comparison websites (=metasearch)?
As far as our two hotels are concerned, it is a question of directing our customers to our site via metasearches to offer them the best available rate and a wider range of products and services.
- Why did you choose MultiMeta? What was the challenge that you were striving to overcome?
Our challenge was to have centralised and synchronised connectivity with our planning and our pricing structure. MultiMeta was the easiest product to use and any management is carried out on the same single interface.
- What results and impacts has MultiMeta had on your hotel/distribution?
In the last three months of our launch year, Multimeta, through Google Ads, generated 20% of the direct reservations for our Hôtel Spa du Béryl (Bagnoles sur l’Orne) and 17% for Hôtel Spa du Casino (St Brévin l’Ocean).
