Software developer Availpro ended 2011 on a strong note, with a range of new product releases and new contracts with both hotels and technology partners. This positive trend has continued into 2012, with a number of high-profile events providing opportunities to raise the Availpro brand’s profile and promote the developer’s expertise. Availpro will be attending several major events including the London Boutique Hotel Summit and the Independent Hotel 12 trade show in London, where it will present its latest direct online sales products through channels such as Facebook, TripAdvisor and the Trivago and Kelkoo price comparison sites.
Availpro enhances its profile through field visits and international trade shows
Availpro continues its’ efforts during 2012 introducing new hotels to the various solutions that can help transform their online sales and distribution strategy. On 15th March, Availpro held its fifth conference at the Crowne Plaza St James in London, focusing on this occasion on “How to win more direct bookings”. At the conference, Availpro officially launched its Direct Click Manager product and introduced hotel owners to another often overlooked subject – out of hours sales – with the support of Hotelfone (a partner that uses Availpro technology).
Availpro will be present in London again on 21st and 22nd May at the Boutique Hotel Summit, both as an exhibitor and a speaker at the “external marketing channels” round-table discussion. A further return to London is planned on 16th and 17th October 2012, for the Independent Hotel 12 trade show, where Availpro will once again be exhibiting and will lead aconference.
According to Richard Oliver, UK & Ireland Business Development Manager: “We will also be visiting other areas of the UK, with planned field visits to meet hotel owners in York and Edinburgh.”
Availpro raises the bar with brand new products that reflect hotel owners’ needs
Since entering the UK market, Availpro has focused on innovation, with an ever-expanding range of products developed in close consultation with hotel owners. As well as covering more than 100 distributor and GDS channels, Availpro continues to offer a wide array of booking engines to meet the needs of all end customers. Once a hotel is armed with Availpro solutions, customers can book a room on a hotel’s website from their computer, smartphone, or even their Facebook page. Hotels and apartment rental sites such as City Nites and Queens Park Hotel have also recently begun using the Availpro Facebook engine.
The latest major opportunity for hotel owners is Direct Click Manager, which enables hotels to display their official website in the list of search channels on TripAdvisor and on the Kelkoo and Trivago price comparison sites (which, until now, had only displayed distributor websites). These partnerships, which Availpro has negotiated on behalf of hotel owners, will give a hotel’s official website a major publicity boost and generate commission-free bookings.
