- How long have you been working with Availpro for? And why did you decide to work with them?
Since 2016. Following a poor season which was linked to economic conditions and other management elements, we decided to start everything from scratch. At the urging of my father over the years 1990-200, we had been pioneers in online distribution with a website early on and a presence on OTAs as soon as they appeared. Then we lost our competitive advantage in this area with the onset of the professionalisation of the digital tools. Now we are back in the game. So in 2016, a change in PMS to switch to Vega and we have twinned this choice with Availpro as channel manager.
- Which Availpro products do you use?
Mainly the Smart Channel Manager. Our offer is too atypical compared with neighbouring hotels to manage yield; the tariff comparison is not relevant.
- What issues were you having before you decided to choose Availpro?
We were managing 4 channels manually, extranet by extranet.
- What has been the biggest impact on your hotel since selecting Availpro as your partner?
