  • How long have you been working with Availpro? Why did you choose Availpro?
    Esprit de France hotels have been working with Availpro since the end of 2006. The choice was therefore made before I joined.
  • If you had to recommend Availpro, what would you say about it? What’s unique about it?
    I would say that it’s a comprehensive software suite that is well suited to independent hotels and that it is continuously evolving.
  • Why did your hotel/you as a hotel want to gain presence on price-comparison websites (=metasearch)? Why did you choose MultiMeta? What was the challenge that you were striving to overcome?
    It was a product that we had long been waiting for, as until recently it was only accessible to OTAs and large groups. This was really frustrating. I therefore didn’t hesitate when it became available. The challenge has always been the same: to attract reservations directly on our websites whilst continuously expanding our sources of qualified traffic. We systematically propose the best price on our websites, however users don’t always make the effort to check. Appearing in the list of Google results allows us to attract visitors and convert them with an acceptable commission rate.
  • What results and impacts has MultiMeta had on your hotel/distribution?
    It’s a source of traffic that has very quickly come to play a key role in acquiring bookings on our websites. Our client conversion rate is approximately twice as high as the average and our bounce rate is very low, demonstrating the strong engagement of these types of users. This proves that our offer is seen, notably by price-sensitive consumers.
  • What are the advantages of MultiMeta?
    A product like MultiMeta allows us to acquire quality traffic and guide consumers to reserve directly on our websites. After that, it’s up to us to ensure that we have an effective website to convince them to book with us and to then retain them to prevent any intermediaries from being involved in future bookings. The advantage is that the solution is directly integrated into Availpro. You activate it in one simple click. MultiMeta is therefore a tool that is both easy to use and to manage. Then there are just a few optimisation steps to complete on Availpro (add your own personalised logo, adjust the commission, etc.), but it works really well.
