Interview

    • How long have you been working at the hotel?
      The hotel opened on March 12 this year, but I started there in February. I’ve worked as a reservations manager for three years at another hotel, but this is a big experience to start a new hotel. It’s going well, but everyday we’re busy, working to improve things.
    • Tell us about the hotel
      The design and the architecture, with all the marble, makes us unique. We’re also central, half way between the city centre and business district.
    • How long have you been working with Availpro? Why did you decide to choose them?
      We’ve been with Availpro since April. We chose them after a recommendation from our PMS provider. We then met with Mr Halek from Availpro, and had a very friendly and professional meeting. At first I thought there might be problems with the set-up, but the Availpro staff was very helpful. If there was anything wrong, they’d fix it.
    • What were the problems you were experiencing before choosing Availpro?
      This is a new project for us, and we’re still working on it. We work with Expedia and Booking.com, and saw our competitors were starting to use channel managers in our region. We thought it would be reasonable to do, rather than integrating three, four or five different individual channels into our system.
    • What were the problems you were experiencing before choosing Availpro?
      At my previous hotel we had a system but the OTA connections were limited. With Availpro, we have so many different channels. The system is also more user-friendly, especially when you enter data.
    • What was the biggest impact on your business after selecting Availpro as your partner?
      The main benefit is that I have more time. The Smart Channel Manager is simple to work with, so we have more time to spend on guest requests and pricing policy

Adriana joined the newly-opened Hotel Royal Prague in February 2017. She worked previously as a reservations manager at another hotel for three years. She is managing distribution for the hotel. Adriana holds a Bachelor in Tourism from the University of Prague.
